As the media keep reminding us, these are extraordinary times. The COVID-19 crisis has turned all our lives upside down. Unfortunately, some industries have been hit hardest of all.

But we shouldn’t forget that hospitality and the other sectors that we provide staff to are some of the country’s most resilient industries. People will always need the services we offer and, when the UK and the world starts to get back on its feet, there will be an increasing demand for what we do. Now that the government has announced we’re “past the peak” of outbreak and are devising a plan to gradually restart the economy, it hopefully won’t be long before (to borrow Boris Johnson’s words) we all start to “see the sunlight.” At Prime Agency Recruitment, we’re seeing the first glimmers of sunlight already.

Although, like everybody, we’ve experienced an extremely difficult past few weeks, we’ve been working hard to find ways to proactively support our clients when this lockdown is over.

We’ve been looking at how we can fine-tune our recruitment strategy, so we can continue to attract the best candidates and provide the finest team members. Because, in the post-lockdown world, the quality of your workforce is going to be more important than ever. You’ll need staff who are as dedicated as you are. Staff who are professional, reliable, hard-working, and highly motivated. The kind of team members we’ve always been proud to supply, and we’re determined to ensure that keeps happening.

Our offices have already been re-arranged according to social distancing rules, so that our team will always remain as safe as possible. We’ve also issued guidance to all our staff on how to work safely for our clients during these times.

Even though most of our clients have been forced to pause business and delay their recruitment plans, we’ve been preparing for your future success. We’ve used this downtime to continue our search for the best and brightest new candidates. We’ve been interviewing via video link and, as always, we’re continuing to run comprehensive online recruiting procedures that are detailed, efficient, and guarantee the staff we provide will always be of the highest quality. While the country’s been in lockdown, we’ve managed to add several exciting new faces to our ever-growing talent pool. Like everybody else at Prime, they’re ready to work with you whenever you need them.

We’ve already been asked to provide additional staff to some of our existing clients in the past couple of weeks, and we’re beginning to receive similar enquiries from other new clients. Although these are very early days, it’s a really encouraging sign. Not just for us, but for everyone involved in our wonderful industry. It’s a sign that we’re all ready to get back to normal (or as close to normal) as soon as we possibly can, and when you need us we’ll be ready and waiting to help you.
